Our client was after a three-bedroom home on a small section with restrictions of 5.5 meters building height and only gable pitch roofs were allowed in the development. A master suite is incorporate into the loft space to provide a 3-bedroom house with generous double-height space with full glazing to the North face.

The house construction is SIPs, which allows very high insulations values and low energy usage. It also allowed us to maximize the internal loft space for the master suite, which would have been difficult if trusses had been used.

A fully insulated slab and underfloor heating ensures the house has low heating costs and this works alongside the heat recovery ventilation system.
